At Lumbercraft, our goal is to make your building plans a reality. We manufacture quality pre-manufactured products that are cost efficient. Our state-of-the-art facility located in Canal Winchester, Ohio can handle your complex roof, floor and wall system needs. We specialize in metal-plate-connected roof and floor trusses, pre-fabricated wall panels, and pre-built carpet grade stairs. Our structurally rated SPF and yellow pine floor and roof trusses are custom designed with the latest building codes using MiTek Software. Lumbercraft is certified by the Structural Building Component Association (SBCA) and the Truss Plate Institute (TPI) and our staff is dedicated to quality that meets or exceeds the standards of SBCA and TPI. Our quality control team provides a minimum of three truss inspections per week, per setup location, per shift, using the Plate Placement Method. However, we are not the only ones doing inspections here at Lumbercraft. Every quarter, SBCA reviews our inspections electronically, while TPI sends an inspector to perform random, quarterly inspections here at our plant. Inspection criteria include:
- Span within 1/4″
- Height within 1/4″
- Lumber and metal plates must be equal to or greater than specified
- Metal plate embedment gaps within 1/32″
- Metal plate rotation within 10°
- Midpoint of metal plate must be within polygon provided by MiTek software
- Wood member to wood member gaps within 1/8″
Our wall panels, custom designed using MiTek software, are constructed of SPF material with LSL headers. Designed to make the job go efficiently and to reduce theft, wall panels will make sense to the builder interested in a quality job that reduces framing time to a minimum.
Our pre-built carpet grade stairs are constructed of yellow pine with TimberStrand treads and individually built to customer specifications.
